The regular monthly meetings of Charlotte NC Saltwater Sportfishing
Club are held at the Captains Galley, 11032 East Independence Blvd. Matthews NC.  
Prior to the 7:00 PM meeting is a social time starting at 6:30 for members to exchange
 stories and talk about their upcoming saltwater trips to the coast, new equipment
or whatever topics come up, while enjoying dinner from a great menu selection
or the buffet located in the meeting room. This is followed by a short business meeting
at 7:00 and a raffle. Next, a guest speaker for the month makes their presentation.

Charlotte Saltwater Sportfishing Club is open to everyone that enjoys saltwater
fishing.  For members, every month, our President (TW McPherson) writes
the Club Talk letter, found on the Club Talk page.

COSFC has an Inner-Club Fishing Tournament that the entire family of a club member
can participate in. This Tournament is for the largest of 15 different species caught
and entered during the year. 

The Club and it's members also compete with other saltwater fishing clubs for club
trophies ( ie: See LBARA Club Challenge results). Members also fish in some of the major
Tournaments and when enough club boats participate, they may have a tournament among
themselves with the club contributing some prize money along with the Calcutta
