Saltwater Sportfishing Club is a nonprofit family
with a current membership of 35 plus families. Club members,
of fly fishermen, kayak fishermen, surf fishermen, pier fishermen
and boat fishermen,
often like to share experiences and possibly learn a bit more about
fishing in saltwater.
On the 4nd Tuesday of each month (starting Jan. 2013), a monthly
of Charlotte Saltwater Sportfishing Club is held at Jonathans
Restaurant,10630 Independence Pointe Pkwy,
Matthews, NC 28105,
A social time starting around 6:30 is when members exchange
stories and talk about their saltwater trips and whatever topics
come up, all
while enjoying dinner from a great menu selection
Meetings do provide an
opportunity for fellowship
and camaraderie with the many friends that enjoy
talking about saltwater fishing.
A brief business meeting begins at 7:00 and the raffle is concluded,
then followed by the program which may be, a guest speaker for the
or a "hands on workshop" session devoted to member requested fishing
Charlotte Saltwater Sportfishing Club is open to everyone who enjoys
in the saltwater. Each month, our President Rick Roberts writes
Club Talk New Letter, which tells us what the next months program
will be and other information about current club news. This News
Letter is posted on the club website (cosfc.com)
Club Talk page.
